INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
With winter approaching we would like you to be aware of how we will handle inclement weather for Sunday services. If Franklin County issues a Level 1 or 2 Snow Emergency, the trustees, elders, and staff will decide if services should be cancelled. If Franklin County issues a Level 3 Snow Emergency, services will be cancelled. We will notify the congregation through NBC4, email, and our website if services are cancelled.
GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to help rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead. We meet every Sunday from 3:00-5:00pm in the Library.
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY
A new Men's Bible Study will be starting on Thursday, January 30 at 7:00pm in the Worship Center. This study will be an eight week study titled Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. All men are welcome to join and are encouraged to RSVP. In order to have the proper amount of materials, we need to know how many people will be attending.
Mothers of Preschoolers is in need of Nursery workers for their monthly meetings. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Candace Hedrick. We meet on the second Thursday of every month and our next meeting will be on Thursday, February 13 from 7:00pm-8:30pm. This is a time for mothers to come together to relax and refresh. Our exciting theme this year is "To The Full". All moms with a child that is in Kindergarten or younger is welcome! We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations and volunteer work for HOPE Ministry. Our volunteers will be sharing hot meals, personal supplies, and cold weather protection on Sunday, January 26 after second service. Before we go out this Sunday, we will need donations of warm clothing, long underwear, heavy socks, hand warmers, batteries, flashlights, and personal supplies. You are also welcome to join us and fill a seat on the church bus as we share the love of Jesus with those who are in need. You are invited to a day of food, fun and fellowship on Saturday, February 1 from 8:30am-3:30pm with our speaker, Dr. Tammy Smith. She will be speaking on being made to thrive, not survive. A continental breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided. The cost will be $20 per person. There will be a table in the Family room between services to register for this event. SAGES VALENTINES LUNCH
SAGES will be going to Spaghetti Warehouse on Friday, February 14 at 1:00pm. This event is for couples and singles alike! Be sure to RSVP on the back of your connection card on Sunday if you are interested in attending. This way we'll know if we'll need to use the bus. SECRET SISTER REVEAL
The Secret Sisters will be meeting at the Stringtown IHOP on Saturday, February 15 at 1:00pm. We will be revealing who your 2019 secret sister was and drawing new names for 2020! Please bring one final gift for your 2019 sister and a thank you gift for the person who had your name. If you have any questions, call or message Chandra Fox.
LEAP DAY GAME NIGHT
We will be having a game night to celebrate Leap Day on Saturday, February 29 at 7:00pm in the Family Room. Bring your favorite board/card game and a dessert that goes with ice cream (brownies, pie, toppings, etc.). Ice cream will be provided, so be sure to bring a friend!
